Oasis reveal concert date

Oasis announced their first gig of the year today with an intimate show to preview tracks from their new album.

The band are to play at Watford Coliseum in England on February 5 - the night before a charity performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The rock idols did a series of six shows in smaller venues last year, rather than the arenas and stadiums they are used to, to mark ten years together.

Tickets for the Watford show go on sale on Thursday. Oasis release their fifth studio album later this year.
