Graham Norton 'gets £1m bonus' for new show

Graham Norton has reportedly been given a £1m bonus for agreeing to host his new Channel 4 show five nights a week.

The bonus comes on top of the £3m two-year deal he signed with Channel 4 last year.

The Graham Norton Show will be screened at 10pm every week night, when it starts in May.

Graham says he'd love to have Dame Shirley Bassey and Madonna as guests.

"I love celebrities so there'll still be big stars on the show," he told a British tabloid.

"But this gives me room to invite people that we can't have on at the moment, such as journalists and authors."
