Lord Of The Rings director becomes a stranger to his children

Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson's children have started forgetting what he looks like.

Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson's children have started forgetting what he looks like.

His wife, Fran Walsh, says it's because he is flying around the world promoting the first film.

She says their daughter saw a Fellowship Of The Ring actor on the TV and thought it was her daddy.

Walsh and their two children have stayed at their home in New Zealand.

"The other day, John Rhys-Davies, who is unrecognisable playing the dwarf Gimli, was on TV without costume and I said to my daughter 'Look who it is.' She said 'Oh, it's Daddy.'

"I thought 'We'd better get him home here soon'," Walsh said.
