Jennifer Aniston injured in car accident

Jennifer Aniston has been injured in a car accident as she drove through a residential area of Hollywood.

The accident occurred when her car was in collision with a vehicle backing out of a driveway near Sunset Boulevard.

Aniston, who was slightly injured, was alone in her Jaguar when the accident happened. There was only minor damage to both vehicles.

The 32-year-old actress complained of pain, but declined treatment when an ambulance was called.

On Sunday, Aniston won the People's Choice Award for best television actress and Friends was chosen as the top comedy series.

Aniston was at the Sundance Film Festival last week promoting her new film, Miguel Arteta's The Good Girl.
