Robson Green to star in Cracker

Robson Green is to become the new face of ITV drama Cracker.

He will play clinical psychologist Tony Hill.

Hill will use his skills to help police catch serial killers, just like Robbie Coltrane's Cracker character Fitz.

His policeman sidekick will be played by Cold Feet star Hermione Norris, it has been reported.

Filming on the six-part series is due to end next month and the show should be broadcast later this year.
