Gail Porter confirms she is expecting baby

Gail Porter has confirmed she is pregnant with her first child.

The 30-year-old TV presenter, who married Toploader guitarist Dan Hipgrave last year, says she is seven weeks pregnant.

A spokesman for the couple said they are "delighted" at the news.

It is thought they would rather have kept the news private because Gail is only in the early stages of her pregnancy.

She has previously insisted she did not want children.
