Whoopi looks forward to Oscar role

Whoopi Goldberg will be the host of this year’s Oscar ceremony, her fourth time as master of ceremonies for Hollywood’s biggest bash.

Goldberg, whose last turn as host was for the 1998 ceremony, will run the proceedings on March 24 when the awards return to Hollywood for the first Oscar show from the new Kodak Theatre, the academy said.
