Pop Idol wannabe 'felt like a winner'

Laura Doherty, the latest budding star to be voted off ITV1’s Pop Idol competition after singing the Bond theme Licence to Kill, said she felt like the winner after receiving incredible support from fans.

Laura, 19, from Derry, who lost out in the poll of 1.8 million viewers - the biggest the programme has seen - said fans were singing her name outside the TV studios following the vote.
