Street bosses dismiss Tracey Shaw’s quit claims

Coronation Street bosses today dismissed as ‘‘speculation’’ reports that Tracy Shaw was planning to turn her back on Weatherfield.

The blonde, who plays pregnant hairdresser Maxine Acock in the Street, is reported to have told friends she is considering walking out of the hit soap to have a baby.
