Eddie Izzard plans to quit TV

Eddie Izzard says he's not doing any more TV.

Izzard says he wants to concentrate on his acting career.

But he says he won't be turning his back on comedy.

"You'll never see me on TV," he said.

"I like doing film, stand-up and theatre. In the '80s I would have been happy to do as many comedy shows as I could but that boat was missed and I've gone on to other boats."
