British born actress Jane Leeves is poised to join the ranks of the highest paid TV stars in the world.
She has reportedly signed up for another three series of the US hit comedy Frasier.
The 40-year-old, who plays Daphne Moon in the award winning show, is believed to have signed a deal worth in excess of £250,000 an episode.
Over three series, the actress who was born in East Grinstead, West Sussex, will earn more than £20 million, making her one of television's hottest properties.
Kelsey Grammer, the main star of the show, became the highest paid comedy actor in TV history earlier in the year when he won a two-year deal worth £1 million per episode.
And David Hyde Pierce, who plays Frasier's on-screen brother and Daphne's love interest, recently signed a contract worth around £700,000 an episode.
Thanks to Frasier, which won 16 Emmys in its first five years, Leeves is now one of the best known British comedy actresses on American television.
She began her TV career in Britain dancing on shows such as Benny Hill and Morecambe and Wise.
But her big break came after she moved to the United States where she was spotted in an episode of Seinfeld and cast as the Mancunian physiotherapist Daphne in Frasier.
