Film fans spot Lord Of The Rings mistakes

Film fans have spotted a string of mistakes in the first Lord Of The Rings film.

They include a scene in which an apple thrown by Strider has a label on it.

The Movie-Mistakes.com website says it looks as if the apple has been bought at a supermarket.

Visitors to the site have so far spotted 37 errors in The Fellowship Of The Ring.

Another apparent error occurs when the Fellowship walks up the snow-covered mountain - in long shots they appear to leave no footsteps in the snow after they have walked through it.

And when Gandalf and Saruman are talking in Orthanc, a black ring is shown on Gandalf's finger on the hand holding his staff, but in the next shot it's disappeared.
