Hugh Jackman voted sexiest Australian

Hugh Jackman has been voted Australia's sexiest man by some of its top models.

Elle Macpherson and Sarah O'Hare took part in the poll conducted by the Australian Women's Weekly.

It found the 33-year-old X-Men star was considered "perfect".

Described as good-looking and talented, Jackman received the most votes ahead of Heath Ledger, Pat Rafter, Mel Gibson, and Russell Crowe.

Television presenter Kim Watkins said she voted for Jackman because he is a "loving husband (and) talented actor" with "no sign of ego and easy on the eyes".

Model Deborah Hutton, whose vote went to Crowe, described the Oscar winner as sex personified. "A bit rough around the edges, a sense of humour, a man's man," she said.

The 25 sexiest men included 12 actors, eight sports stars, two comedians, a celebrity gardener, a rock musician and a media mogul.
