Travis star wants to become a dad

Fran Healy wants to start a family next year.

The Travis frontman plans to marry his girlfriend Nora Kryst in 2002.

Fran said he can't wait to have children.

"It has come to that time in my life where I want kids. Nora wants kids too. I'm going with my feelings and instincts, which I have to act on," he said.

"We're getting married because it is traditional. But it won't be at Skibo or anything like that. It's going to be a small-scale affair."
