Chili Peppers to return to Ireland

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are to play a concert in Dublin on June 25.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, January 18. No details have yet been announced about the venue.

Traditionally Dublin's home of rugby and soccer, Lansdowne Road, holds a summer concert for up to 40,000 fans.

More details are expected to be announced soon.

The Chili Peppers supported U2 at one of their Slane Castle concerts this summer.
