Joan Collins to wed her toyboy

Joan Collins is to marry her 36-year-old boyfriend early next year.

The 68-year-old actress will wed Peruvian-born Percy Gibson at a ceremony in London in February.

The theatre company manager proposed to Collins in May while the couple were in New York.

Her spokeswoman, Stella Wilson, said: "They are to marry in London in February but they have not yet finalised a venue or an exact date.

"They are both very happy and are very in love with each other."

The pair met when Collins was starring in a production of the play Love Letters, which was touring in the United States.

At first they were just friends but love blossomed when Gibson helped her edit her latest novel, Star Quality.

Despite being involved in a 13-year relationship with art dealer Robin Hurlstone at the time, Collins described falling in love with Gibson as "like being struck by a thunderbolt".

It will be the fifth time Collins has married.
