Only Fools And Horses faces a race against time to get its Christmas special finished.

Filming for the BBC show hasn't been completed yet.

Editing will go on until Christmas Eve, just a day before it is broadcast.

David Jason is so busy he couldn't collect his lifetime achievement award at the British Comedy Awards on Saturday, according to reports .

Producer Gareth Gwenlan said: "Seventy-five minutes takes a lot of making."

Producers are reported to have insisted on filming more than one ending to prevent the plot being leaked.
