Westlife to perform for the Pope

Westlife are reported to be performing in front of the Pope tonight.

The Irish boy band have taken their families to Rome for the private gig.

They will go on to perform at the Vatican Christmas Television Show tomorrow night.

Songs will include Queen of my Heart, Little Drummer Boy and Silent Night, reports BBC Radio.

The event is to raise money for a charity which aims to build 50 new churches around Rome.
