Museum preserves kilted movie star’s modesty

A Madame Tussaud’s dummy of Hollywood star Samuel L Jackson has been kitted out with a pair of underpants to stop visitors looking under his kilt.

The replica of the actor has been dressed in his costume from his latest movie 51st State but bosses at the London attraction have added the extra clothing for the sake of modesty.

Jackson, who stars with Robert Carlyle and Meat Loaf in the film, donated the kilt, sporran and even the beret he wore in the picture.

He plays a tough American drug dealer in the £20m movie set among the Liverpool rave scene.

Madame Tussaud’s plans to leave the kilt on over Christmas and the New Year and then dress the Pulp Fiction star back in trousers.
