Limp Bizkit promise to co-operate fully with Australian inquest

Limp Bizkit are promising to give full co-operation when an inquest into the death of an Australian fan resumes.

Teenager Jessica Michalik died five days after being crushed in the moshpit during the band's set at the Big Day Out festival in Sydney in January.

Sydney coroner Jacquie Milledge has asked for frontman Fred Durst to appear at the inquiry when it restarts on February 25 next year.

She said Durst was in "a great position to tell this court what he thinks went wrong and what we can do to fix it."

Dotmusic.com reports the band's manager Peter Katsis told MTV he has made it clear that the "people on our team who know the most of what is truly pertinent" will be on hand to give evidence.

Katsis says Durst did not travel to Sydney for the inquest because of his fear of flying.

He said other members of the Limp Bizkit tour party have more knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the tragedy than the band members.
