Ant and Dec in tears as they say goodbye to CD:UK
Ant and Dec have burst into tears as they bid farewell to CD:UK.
Paul McCartney and U2 led the tributes to the pair as they presented SMTV Live and CD:UK for the last time.
They have presented both shows for the past three and a half years alongside Cat Deeley.
At the end of the feature Eat My Goal, in which the guests have to score a penalty past Ant, Robbie Williams bared his backside.
Ant and Dec looked stunned as the recorded tributes from David Beckham, Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Westlife and U2 were played.
Bono, lead singer of U2, said: "You are one of the great couples of our time."
Asked by Frank Skinner what was so great about SMTV and CD:UK, Dec said: "It's three hours of live TV really just messing about, great bands in the studio having a lot of fun. It's been like that for three and a half years."
