Daniel Day-Lewis tempted back onto the screen

Awaiting Martin Scorsese's The Gangs of New York, about the Italian-Irish

gangland wars, Oscar-winner Daniel Day-Lewis, who holds Irish

citizenship, says it was the chance of working again with the famed

director which attracted him back to the screen.

And, of course, he teams up with Liam Neeson, Leo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz.
