Secret of Mana remake footage debuts

The first gameplay footage from the upcoming Secret of Mana 3D remake for the PC, PS4 and Vita has made its way online (via Eurogamer).

It gives fans of the beloved RPG a glimpse at the remake’s opening moments, which fatefully depict protagonist Randi’s discovery of the mysterious sword that sets him off on his globetrotting adventure.

Secret of Mana was originally released for the Super Nintendo back in 1993 and has spawned a number of sequels and spin-offs in the years since.
