Twitter adds more info to Notifications tab

Twitter has updated its Notifications tab to include more information about the accounts users follow such as what news articles they’re sharing and if they’re tweeting about a specific Twitter trend.

As reported by TechCrunch, the new update was not officially announced by Twitter and began rolling out to iOS and Android users last week.

In other news Twitter reported lower-than-expected monthly active users today in the company’s second-quarter earnings release; the company reported 328 million monthly active users, the same amount reported in the previous quarter.
