Stretch for Simon

The Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre is continuing its Yoga in The Park for Cork Simon Community in Cork’s Fitzgerald’s Park. Every Saturday, yoga enthusiasts and novices will stretch it out to help fight homelessness through yoga from 10am to 11.15am in front of the bandstand in Fitzgerald’s Park. The annual St Barrahane’s Church Festival of Music in Castletownshend in West Cork is underway and you can enjoy Riona O’Duinnin on flute and Dianne Marshall on harp on Thursday for €15 at 8pm or the St Mary’s Church Choir from Wimbledon next Saturday for €20 at 4pm. Sitting at the top of the Bay

Bayview Hotel in the seaside village of Ballycotton in East Cork is hosting a ‘Banquet by the Bay’ series of events which kicks off next Saturday with The Mackrel Run. The event promises the freshest of seafood direct from Ballycotton’s pier on the menu, along with a drinks reception featuring Dingle Gin and Dingle Vodka.
