Nintendo Switch Online app launches

Nintendo has just launched Nintendo Switch Online, an app designed to enhance the online gameplay experience for Switch owners by providing them with useful features including voice chat for Switch.

Available to download on iOS and Android devices, the Nintendo Switch Online app is free to use until the company launches its paid subscription service in 2018.

In addition to voice chat, the app allows Switch owners to invite others via Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp to join their gaming sessions and also offers game-specific services such as the dedicated SplatNet 2 service for the soon-to-be-released Splatoon 2.
