There will be new a Forza game every year lead developer confirms
Interviewed at E3 (via Gamespot), Chris Tector, Software Architect at Turn 10 Studios, stated that the game will continue to come out every year. Since 2011, a new Forza title has been released annually, alternating between the circuit racing “Motorsport” and open world “Horizon” subtitles.
However, until now there was no guarantee of this and in the past larger gaps between releases were the norm. Now officially an annual series, Forza joins the likes of Call of Duty as a profit-earning staple of the industry. Fans, however, have not greeted the confirmation warmly, with some arguing that quality and originality ebbs with such an intensive release cycle.
