Snapchat has added a new location sharing feature yesterday that allows users to share their geolocation with friends.

Image sharing app Snapchat added a new location sharing feature yesterday that allows users to share their geolocation with friends via an in-app global map, as revealed by Snapchat in blog post.

Named Snap Map, the new feature allows users to quickly and simply share their location with friends and users can remove themselves from the map by using Ghost Mode.

Users who share their location on Snap Map will be represented by their personal Snapchat Actionemoji, and user locations will only update when the app is open.
