No VR support for Xbox One X?

A new interview from The Wall Street Journal suggests that the Xbox One X may not support virtual reality video games.

A surprising new detail about Microsoft’s Xbox One X console has emerged from an interview between The Wall Street Journal and the head of marketing at Xbox, Mike Nichols: the Xbox One X may not support virtual reality.

Speaking about the possible absence of VR support on the new console, Nichols explained that the company believes PCs will offer a better VR experience than home consoles:

‘The opportunity on PC is larger, because the install base is larger and we think the customer experience will be better on PC.’

The Xbox One X is due for worldwide release on November 7.
