BioWare announces Anthem

BioWare, the video game studio behind the original trilogy of Mass Effect games, revealed a new IP during Microsoft’s Xbox One X conference at E3 2017.

Anthem is a third person open world action game that at first glance doesn’t look to dissimilar to BioWare’s beloved sci-fi epic but appears to have more in common with JPRGs like Monster Hunter than it does with Mass Effect.

Anthem sees players teaming up with up to three friends as they don exosuits to take on massive monsters and alien warriors on a beautiful and lush planet that may or may not be a future Earth.
