Sony to launch golden PS4 Slim

An image posted to Reddit suggests that Sony is preparing to launch a golden variant of the PlayStation 4 Slim console.

Sony will soon launch a golden version of the PlayStation 4 Slim console if a photograph that recently appeared on Reddit is to be believed (via Gamespot).

Posted by Reddit user Sliye, the image appears to show a boxed golden PS4 Slim with a 1 TB hard drive.

Sliye claims to be an employee of US retailer Target and stated that the as yet unannounced golden PS4 Slim variant will launch on June 9.

Sony has given no indication that it is preparing to launch a new PS4 variant, but it’s possible the company wanted to keep it as a surprise until launch day.
