A new leak from the Wireless Power Consortium has revealed the first image of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, a more durable version of the Galaxy S8 smartphone designed for outdoor enthusiasts.

Samsung’s Active smartphones typically feature shatter-resistant screens, a rugged body resistant to water and dust damage, and a larger battery that offers longer usage time.

Judging by the image, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active appears to come with a flat screen as opposed to the standard Galaxy S8’s curved screen plus larger bezels on the display.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S8 Active in the next few weeks.
