Far Cry 5 setting revealed

The setting of Far Cry 5, the fifth main entry in Ubisoft’s long running open world series, has been unveiled ahead of the game’s first proper reveal on May 26.

Four short videos uploaded to the official Ubisoft UK YouTube account reveal that the game will take place in the fictional Hope County, Montana.

The videos also reveal that contrary to previous reports about a Wild West setting the game will take place during modern times, although it’s likely to be presented as a modern Western in the vein of No Country for Old Men and Hell or High Water.
