This week’s must do, see & buy
Open every weekend again from June 4 to September, it’s worth visiting, and paying the season membership, for the stunning cafe alone.
With decking offering full ocean views, it’s one of Cork’s hidden gems.
An original John Lennon ink sketch of the cover of the iconic Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album is on show at the Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons, part of the new 60s Summer of Love exhibition.

The crude initial ink sketch by Lennon is thought to be the basis for the artwork of Peter Blake and Jann Hanworth, who would go on to win the 1968 Grammy Award for Best Album Cover, Graphic Arts.
The finished masterpiece featured a whole host of iconic and influential figures from history, including Bob Dylan, Marilyn Monroe, Karl Marx, and Irish writer James Joyce.
It will be a last chance for people to see the famous drawing before it goes up for auction in Manhattan with Julien’s Auctions.
The 60’s Summer of Love Exhibition continues until July 23.
Max Benjamin has added two new fragrances to its range of scented cards just in time to pack them in your suitcase for summer.

An ideal way to keep luggage fresh when travelling, the new lines include Blue Azure, evoking sea salt, Mediterranean coastal sky and mild citrus air
infused with touches of herbs, spice and soft wood.
They last for four weeks so after holidays they can be used to fragrance any small space such as a wardrobe, drawers, car or handbag.
