New Android updates released for Xperia smartphones

Sony Mobile has released Sony Xperia X Concept Program software update for the Xperia X Compact, Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ smartphones.

Sony Mobile has released the final version of the Sony Xperia X Concept Program software update for the Xperia X Compact, Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ smartphones, as revealed in a post on the Xperia blog.

The update brings with it the May 1 2017 Android security patch in addition to a number of performance and function enchantments.

Further software and firmware updates for the Xperia line of smartphones are expected from Sony Mobile in the coming weeks and will likely coincide with the Android O update from Google.
