Report: HMD Global halts Nokia pre-orders

A new report notes that Nokia 3310 manufacturer HMD Global has requested UK retailer Clove to refrain from taking pre-orders for upcoming Nokia phones.

A new report from NokiaPowerUser notes that HMD Global, manufacturer of the upcoming Nokia 3310 (2017), Nokia 3 and Nokia 5, requested UK retailer Clove to stop taking pre-orders for the aforementioned devices for the time being.

Clove started accepting pre-orders for the phones shortly after HMD Global announced the release dates for all three, but the report states that HMD Global felt the pre-order option was offered too early and as a result asked Clove end pre-orders for now.
