Assassin’s Creed: Origins, thought to be the next game in the immensely popular Assassin’s Creed series from Ubisoft, may be set in ancient Egypt according to an article from WWG.

Referring to sources from Ubisoft, the article states:

‘Our sources suggest that Origins is a vast open world experience taking place in ancient Egypt. The story is rumoured to revolve around the original assassin’s guild and will feature two main characters - a man and a woman.’

Ubisoft is expected to reveal the next Assassin’s Creed game at this year’s E3 event, which takes place on June 13-15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
