Android Pay integrates bank apps
Google has joined forces with several banks around the world to add a new Android Pay section to the respective banks’ mobile apps, as revealed in a post on the Google blog.
Bank of America, Bank of New Zealand, Discover, mBank and USAA have partnered with Google to provide Android Pay through their various mobile apps, which allows users to quickly add credit and debit cards to Android Pay and use the service when needed.
Speaking about the new partnership, Google said:
‘This latest collaboration with banks expands Android Pay’s capabilities as an open platform, and moves us closer toward our goal of empowering mobile payments everywhere. We’re continuing to integrate with additional mobile banking apps, so look for updates from your bank about this new feature.’
