Amazon Alexa available for US iPhones

Amazon has made its Alexa voice assistant available for iPhone users for the first time in the software’s history, as noted in an article from Gadgets 360.

Alexa was originally designed for use with Android operation systems only; Apple users with iOS 8.0 or later can access Alexa by downloading the Amazon app and tapping the microphone icon found on the top-right side of the Amazon app.

Once done you can use Alexa on your iPhone as you would on an Amazon Echo device.

Amazon’s Alexa is currently available for US iOS users only, but it’s likely we’ll see it added to the Irish iTunes store in the coming months.
