iPhone 8 may launch after September

An article released last week claimed the iPhone 8 would go into mass production in September, but a new report suggests that this may not be the case.

iPhone 8 may launch after September

iGeneration (via 9TO5Mac) has identified STMicroelectronics as the manufacturer responsible for the iPhone 8’s 3D camera system, but notes that the technology may not be ready for a September launch which is when Apple typically releases new smartphones.

Although the launch of the iPhone 8 may be delayed until later this year, Apple is still expected to release two of its three upcoming iPhone devices in September.
