Amazon's Alexa adds medical advice feature

Amazon’s personal assistant app Alexa has added another skill to its impressive résumé; it will now offer medical advice courtesy of the popular online health information provider WebMD.

WebMD announced the new partnership today in a press release, and it aims to provide Alexa users with a wealth of health related info from treatments of common illnesses to definitions of diseases.

WebMD was keen to point out that as with its own website's content, Alexa’s medical advice is offered as supplementary information.
