Pokemon Go hits 650 million mark

Pokémon Go has been downloaded 650 million times since the game was released in July of last year, as noted in an article from Polygon.

The number was announced by developer Niantic Labs during Google Developer Day at the 2017 Game Developers Conference, and as Polygon points out it suggests the augmented reality game’s popularity is waning, relatively speaking.

Niantic previously revealed Pokémon Go hit the 500 million download mark all the way back in September, two months after the game’s release.
