PlayStation VR approaches 1m mark

PlayStation VR has almost sold 1 million units in the six months since the device was launched back in October 2016.

Sony has sold 915,000 units of PlayStation VR since the device was launched in October 2016, as revealed by PlayStation chief Andrew House in an interview with The New York Times.

The sales were better than expected for the period and set Sony on the path to achieve its goal of selling more than one million PlayStation VR units during the first six months of release.
