LG G6 to feature two 13MP cameras

The upcoming LG G6 flagship smartphone will feature two rear 13MP cameras, providing a 125-degree field of view for taking pictures.

LG’s upcoming G6 flagship smartphone features two rear 13MP cameras, as confirmed by the Verge via a blog post (in Korean) from LG.

The two rear facing cameras offer a 125-degree field of view, allowing users to take wider images with a square 1:1 ratio.

Such images are formatted properly on the LG G6’s screen thanks to its unique 18:9 display.

The device’s front camera provides a 100-degree field of view, and the smartphone also features a 360-degree panorama mode, a food mode for boosting colour saturation, plus a square camera capable of splitting the display in two.

The LG G6 will be officially revealed on February 26 at this year’s Mobile World Congress.
