Nokia to demonstrate 4.9G tech at MWC

Nokia is teaming up with Sprint to demonstrate its new 4.9G technology at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Nokia is teaming with American telecommunications company Sprint to demonstrate its new 4.9G technology at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, as revealed in a press release from Nokia.

The 4.9G technology will be demonstrated using 3D Beamforming software, and is capable of delivering gains of up to eight times the normal uplink throughput and five times the normal downlink throughput.
