You’ve probably just got rid of all remnants of wrapping paper with snowmen on it and made use of those thoughtful gift receipts so you could make out like a bandit in the sales.

Vouchers have probably been used up, too, to cheer up what was, let’s face it, a pretty bleak January. So, whatever your feelings about Valentine’s Day, sure why not use it as an excuse to buy a nice little present for that special someone in your life.

You could light up someone’s life with a personalised lightbox, give your partner a laugh with a reworking of an Enid Blyton classic or pretend you’ve won the Euromillions and splurge on an Alexander McQueen satchel.
