Putin shows off his dog to Japanese journalists

Russian President Vladimir Putin brought his dog Yume to an interview ahead of his visit to Japan this week.

Yume was given to Putin by Japan’s Akita Prefecture in 2012.

Yume barked loudly at the media crew who stood still and smiled at the dog.

Putin then showed the media what tricks she can do with treats.

Awkward and fascinating.
