Local police officers in a small Canadian town have found a novel way of discouraging drink driving this Christmas.

In a smart move to promote their ’Don’t Drink and Drive!’ message, Kensington Police Service have added an unusual punishment for any driver who is arrested while drunk.

In addition to the usual fine and suspension from driving, motorists will also be subjected to Nickelback’s 2001 album, Silver Side Up.
