You can now take part in Team Hope's Christmas Shoebox Appeal online

Did you forget to take part in this year's Team Hope's Christmas Shoebox Appeal?

After receiving an overwhelming response so far, with trucks and containers jam-packed with shoeboxes set to make their way to needy children in Africa and Eastern Europe, Team Hope have moved the appeal online and you can now fill a box at the click of a button.

You can donate €15 for an online shoebox, decide whether you’d like your gift to be for a boy, a girl or both and Team Hope will do the rest.

For many of these children it is the only present they get all year, so every box counts and guarantees to bring joy, laughter and hope into some heart-rending situations.

"Our online shoebox is a great idea for anyone who hasn’t had the time to go shopping, can’t get out, or just never got round to it," said Niall Barry, Team Hope Executive Director.

"Our team in Kenya will use the money donated to create a Christmas gift (just like the ones we do here) and give it to one of Africa’s poorest children."
