Book review: Razor Girl

IF YOU like a kooky read or are drawn to crime thrillers, but fancy something a little bit different, you wouldn’t go far wrong by picking up Carl Hiaasen’s Razor Girl.

Following his previous novels for grown-ups and younger readers, including Bad Monkey and Hoot, he has based the action in the Everglades of south Florida.

Merry is the Razor Girl of the title, a conwoman who distracts her marks after lining up a car accident in a very novel way.
